Podczas II wojny światowej, 24 marca 1942 roku hitlerowcy wywieźli sieroty, starców, kaleki oraz ich opiekunów na łąki na Tatarach i rozstrzelali.
Dom – przystosowany pod względem konstrukcyjnym i użytkowym budynek, przeznaczony do celów mieszkalnych.
